Administration
Linda
Leslie Bradberry, Founding Music Director and Conductor of
Augusta Children’s Chorale, begins her nineteenth
season since founding
the organization in 1991. Stemming
from a degree in piano performance (University of Georgia),
Bradberry’s musical interests have led her to a long history of
involvement in the Augusta arts. In
addition to local leadership roles, she has served as director,
conductor, coordinator of numerous district, regional, and
jurisdictional programs and events in both sacred and secular
organizations. She has
accepted many invitations to be guest clinician for camps, workshops,
choral groups, clinics, and events.
Currently, Bradberry serves as Director of Music Ministries at
Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Having received recognition and honors representing her
leadership in the music arena, she has been featured in the Augusta
Business Magazine, Augusta Magazine, Pillars of Augusta Magazine and Southern Living
Magazine.
Since
1991, Linda Leslie Bradberry has inspired more than 375 young singers in
Augusta Children’s Chorale. Many
alumni entering adulthood credit her and the organization with their
aesthetic interests, musical growth, and character development.
The Board of Directors of Augusta Children’s Chorale
acknowledges Linda Bradberry’s valuable contribution to the Augusta
area, asserting that her influence covers a broad spectrum of patrons
and families.

Lori Ascani Van Lenten
is beginning her sixth season as Conductor of Augusta
Children’s Chorale--Da Capo.
She attended
Florida
State
University
where she received a Bachelors degree in Choral Music Education.
After graduating in 2000, she moved to
Augusta
, directed middle school choirs in
Richmond
County
, and directed the Middle School Summer Chorus Camp at
Augusta
State
University
for four years.
She currently serves as Choir Director at
Wesley
United
Methodist
Church
in Evans and teaches adults and children from her
private voice studio.
Sandra Prichard, Accompanist
for Augusta Children’s Chorale for thirteen years, is a native of
Great Britain
. She graduated magna
cum laude from
Augusta
College
with music performance degrees in piano and voice, and she earned
diplomas in piano and theory from the Royal Academy of Music in
Scotland
. She has performed in
master classes with noted clinicians John McCollum, John Woostman,
Charles Wadsworth, Jean Ashworth Bartle and Igor Kipnis.
She has performed in
Europe
, throughout the
United States
and
Canada
, and at numerous local venues such as the Appleby and
Hopeland
Gardens
concert series,
St. Paul
’s
Tuesday Music Live series, and in concerts with the Augusta Choral
Society.
Prichard currently serves as Music Director and Organist at the
Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
Phillip Streetman, Accompanist
for Augusta Children’s Chorale--Da Capo, begins his fourth season
with ACC. A native of
Cordele
,
Georgia
, he attended
Georgia
Southwestern
State
University
and served as the concert choir accompanist while earning his
Bachelors degree in Choral Music Education.
At Midsummer Macon Music and Art Camp, Streetman was conductor
of the middle school chorus camp and accompanist of the high school
chorus camp. He earned
his Masters Degree in Music Education at the
University
of
Georgia
in 2004. For the past
seven years, he has been director at
Columbia
Middle School
in
Columbia
County
and accompanist for 10th District Honors Chorus.
He is also musical director for Harlem High School Drama.
Gayle Crawford, Business Manager, for the Augusta Children's Chorale
is no stranger to the organization.
She became affiliated with ACC in 1993, when her daughter auditioned for
the group. During the years her daughter was enrolled, Gayle served in
various capacities, such as Chairman of Ways and Means, President of FOA
and as a member of the ACC Board. She has a background in business where
she spent time as the office manager for a family owned business. Gayle
lives in Evans, GA and attends Wesley United Methodist Church. She is
excited about coming home to ACC and looks forward to working with the
organization again.
